Our Christmas Journey

Traditions were broken at Bratton Preschool as the children, staff and their parents went on a ‘Christmas Journey’ around the village.  Old friends from Bratton Primary School’s Zebra Class, parents and grandparents all followed maps to find key characters from the nativity and joined together to sing appropriate songs to retell the Christmas story.  Joint Playleader Wendy Waller said ‘ We have been developing our outdoor curriculum and wanted to give the children the opportunity to practice some simple map reading skills.  Involving the families and the Primary school made this a very enjoyable and relaxed morning of fun’.  On returning to the preschool everyone was able to enjoy the coffee morning and fair  organised by the parent committee and valuable funds were raised for preschool equipment.
